This puppets, theater and music show recreates the world of two teenager toys (Policarpa and Nando), whose wish is to get married.

Kept from their wishes because of Policarpa’s father hostility, the couple make up funny tricks with the collaboration of the teacher “Colorete Patacón” and her musicians, who at the same time putt together the history with the musical themes, which recreate that playful love.

Like in the old days, the commedia dell'arte and the proliferation of comedian and puppeteers companies in the golden Spanish century, the Matacandelas Theater wants to entrench into a festive tradition, merging into an artistic phenomenon of the last 25 years in Colombia: the beginning of the puppets theater. The unity between the comedian performer, the puppet and the music into the whole scenic performance, has today an extended success in our audience, recovering the bright moments from the best theater.
